On behalf of the members of Flotilla 17, Pensacola , FL I would like to welcome you to our website.

Most likely you have found or been directed to this website in your search to learn more about boating safety, the USCG, or the Auxiliary. Whatever the reason, I’m glad that you are here. Please take the time to explore all the sections and links available – as you will find valuable information regarding boating safety, America’s Waterway Watch, and the various programs and opportunities of volunteer service with the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

I invite you to visit one of our monthly Flotilla meetings – held the third Thursday of each month beginning at 7pm and held at U.S. Coast Guard station Pensacola on board NAS Pensacola. Please feel free to contact me or any of the Flotilla Staff Officers for more information about the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

A Vessel Safety Check is a courtesy examination of your boat (Vessel) to verify the presence and condition of certain safety equipment.

Congratulations!

Flotilla 1-7 elections were held on September 15th. The Staff and Members of Flotilla 17 would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Debbie and Greg Bradley for being elected to the positions of Flotilla Vice Commander and Flotilla Commander.

Greg Bradley was elected to the position of Flotilla Commander for 2009. With the office of Flotilla Vice Commander currently vacant, Greg will serve the remainder of this year in that capacity.
